প্রেমময় অতীত (Loving past) 3rd.

          সেদিন ছিল ১৩ ই ফেব্রুয়ারী ইস্কুলে টিফিনের সময় ক্লাস রুমের সামনে দাঁড়িয়েছিলাম ৩ জন ক্লাস সেভেনের মেয়ে এলো আর আমাকে তাদের ক্লাসের একটা মেয়ে আমাকে পছন্দ করে। আমি খুব অবাক হয়ে তাকিয়ে থাকিলাম। আমাকে আবার বললো একি কথা " আমাদের ক্লাসের একটা মেয়ে তোকে খুব পছন্দ করে আর ভালোবাসে তুই কি বলছিস বল? " আমি বিভ্রান্ত হয়ে পরেছিলাম যে আমার মতো ছেলেকে হঠাৎ করে কোন মেয়ে পছন্দ করতে লাগল? আমি কি বলব বুঝতে না পেরে একটা বন্ধুকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম কি বলবো বন্ধুটা বললো ঠিক আছে। তারপর ইস্কুল ছুটির অপেক্ষায় রইলাম কে সেই মেয়েটি দেখার জন্য। ছুটির পরে বাড়ি ফেরার পথে তাকে দেখতে দেখতে ঘরে ফিরলাম আর ভাবতে থাকলাম যে কি দেখে সে আমাকে ভালোবাসল? তার মধ্যে রুপের আর গুণের কোনোটাই অভাব ছিলনা। দেখতে যেমন সুন্দরী পড়াশোনাতেও তেমনি প্রতিভা। বাড়ি ফিরে শুধু তারি কথা ভাবতে থাকলাম কারণ পরের দিন ছিল ১৪ ই ফেব্রুয়ারী। ভালবাসা দিবসে তাকে কি উপহার দিয়ে আমাদের ভালোবাসার পরব শুরু করবো সেটা ভাবতে ভাবতে বাকি দিনটা কেটে গেল।

            That day, on 13th February, during school tiffin, I was standing in front of the class room. 3 girls from class seven came and a girl from their class liked me.  I stared in amazement.  He said the same thing to me again, "Tell me what a girl in our class likes and loves you so much." I was confused as to which girl would suddenly like a boy like me?  Not understanding what to say, I asked a friend what to say. The friend said okay.  Then I waited for the school holidays to see who the girl was.  On the way home after the holidays, I went home to see him and wondered if he loved me.  There was no lack of form or quality in her.  As beautiful as it is to study, so is talent.  Back home, I just kept thinking about her because the next day was 14th February.  The rest of the day was spent thinking about what gift to give her to start our love festival on Valentine's Day.
